VAN-TEC MEDICAL s.r.o. (hereinafter the “controller”) processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter the “GDPR”) and related Czech legislation.
What personal data we process
1. Data from contact forms
When you submit a form on our website, we process the data you voluntarily provide. This typically includes:
- first and last name,
- e-mail address,
- phone number (if you provide it),
- organisation name (if you provide it),
- the content of your message.
Purpose of processing: Responding to your enquiry, question or request for consultation. Legal basis: The controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — processing is necessary to handle your request. Alternatively, the performance of a contract or steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), where your enquiry is aimed at establishing a business relationship. Retention period: A maximum of 3 years from the last contact, unless a business relationship is established. If a contract is concluded, we follow the statutory archiving periods.
2. Analytics data (Google Analytics)
On our website we use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to analyse traffic and user behaviour on the site.
Data processed:
- anonymised IP address,
- browser and device information,
- pages visited and time spent on the site,
- traffic source (where you came to the site from).
Purpose of processing: Analysing website traffic and improving content and user experience. Legal basis: User consent given via the cookie bar (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Retention period: Data is retained in accordance with the Google Analytics settings, by default for 14 months.

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser.
Necessary cookies
These ensure the basic functionality of the website (e.g. remembering your cookie consent). These cookies do not require your consent.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
These are used to collect anonymised traffic data. They are only activated after your consent given via the cookie bar.
You can withdraw your consent to cookies at any time via the cookie bar settings on our website or in your browser settings.
Recipients of personal data
Your personal data may be transferred to Google LLC (Google Analytics) as a processor of analytics data, based in the USA. The transfer is governed by standard contractual clauses pursuant to Article 46(2)(c) GDPR.
We do not sell, rent or otherwise provide personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights under the GDPR:
- Right of access — you can ask us whether and what data of yours we process.
- Right to rectification — if your data is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected.
- Right to erasure — you can request the erasure of your data if the purpose of processing has ceased or you withdraw your consent.
- Right to restriction of processing — you can request the restriction of processing in the cases set out in the GDPR.
- Right to data portability — you have the right to obtain your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object — you can object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to withdraw consent — you can withdraw your consent to processing (e.g. cookies) at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Data security
We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or misuse. The website is secured with an encrypted connection (HTTPS/SSL).

If you believe that we are processing your personal data in breach of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
