On 27–28 April 2026, the O2 universum in Prague will host the 29th Prague Surgical Days. The event is organised by the 1st Department of Surgery of the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University and the General University Hospital in Prague, in cooperation with the Czech Surgical Society, the Czech Society of Trauma Surgery and the Czech Oncological Society of the ČLS JEP.
The professional programme includes a section for physicians focused on acute conditions in surgery and surgical oncology, including the topic of colorectal cancer, and a section for non-medical healthcare professionals dedicated to current trends in wound healing, psychosocial support for cancer patients and injury prevention.
